Using the Hand Crank
If no electric power is available the cable
can be wound up with the hand crank.
The hand crank is not intended for
operation of the winch and cannot be
used to move or hold loads.
1. Place the hand crank (8) on the clutch
shaft and secure it with the correspond-
ing nut.
2. Release the clutch by turning the clutch knob (2) counter clock-
wise.
3. Turn the hand crank to wire in or out the steel cable.
4. Turn the clutch knob clockwise to tighten the clutch.
Note
Attention: Never use the hand crank to supplement the motor
or to hold the load with the crank. This may lead to injury or
damage to the winch.
Cleaning and Maintenance
 Keep the steel cable clean and lightly oiled.
 If the winch is used extensively, it should be examined and
lubricated by a qualified technician once a year.
 Do not try to repair the winch yourself and do not disassemble it.
In case of questions or problems please turn to our customer
service.
 Clean the housing of the winch with a lightly moistened cloth.
Storing
 Store the unit indoors in a dry place that is protected from dust,
dirt and extreme temperatures.
 Store the unit out of reach of children.
