6. Connect the pump to power and the booster set
will start and begin to prime. This operation lasts a
few seconds, during this time you will hear that the
noise of the pump changes depending on whether it
sucks air + water (noisy) or only water (silent) and that
air and water come out of the open tap. If the pump
is primed correctly, it will take a few seconds until it
sucks only water, at which point it will become silent
and only water will come out of the tap.
Note: If after a reasonable period of time the pump
cannot only suck water in, stop the pump and check
that there is enough water at the suction point. If there
is enough water at the suction point, switch off the
machine and check the tightness of the suction tube.
7. Close the circuit tap once only water comes out
with a flow and pressure in accordance with the
performance of the pressure group. The group pump
will stop once the pressure in the circuit rises above
3 bar.
6.2.2. START UP (NOT FIRST START UP)
1. Open the circuit for aspiration and impulsion.
2. Connect the pump to mains and the pressure
group it will start up and begin to prime. The pressure
group will start up until the circuit pressure reaches 3
bars and will stop awaiting the next start up when the
circuit demands its start up.
6.3. VERIFICATION POINTS AFTER START-UP
Check that when you open a tap in the circuit and
lower the pressure in the circuit below 1.5 bar, the
pressure group starts up automatically, that the noise
from the machine is normal, that it does not vibrate
and that, when the pressure of the circuit reaches 3
bars, the pressure group stops.
If you detect any anomaly in the machine, stop
immediately, disconnect the machine, check the
installation and the power connections. In the event
of any anomaly or problem, take the machine to the
technical service for repair. In no case continue to use
the machine if the operation does not seem adequate.
6.4. PROTECTION AGAINST OVERLOAD
This machine has a safety switch that will disconnect
the machine in case of overload due to excessive
work. If you detect that the machine does not start, it
may be because the safety switch has been activated.
In this case unplug the unit and wait 15 minutes
before restarting the machine.
7. MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE
The removal of the security elements, a
poor maintenance or the substitution of
spares and accessories by non original
ones can all cause severe corporal damages.
Always carry out all the maintenance
work with the machine unplugged from
the mains.
7.1. MAINTENANCE
Carry out the following maintenance work.
7.1.1 MEMBRANE PRESSURE
The membrane in the interior of the boiler must be
at a pressure 1.3 bars when there is no water in the
boiler. Check the membrane pressure once every
three months.
To check the membrane pressure there is an air valve
(number 4 in section 4.3) similar to that found in
bicycle and car wheels.
