DISPOSAL
The symbol "crossed out garbage can" requires the
separate disposal of electrical and electronic old
appliances (WEEE). Applicances of this type may contain
valuable, yet hazardous substances that can harm the
environment. You are legally responsible for disposing of
these products at a designated collection point for the
recycling of electrical and electronic equipment and not in
unsorted household waste. This way, you contribute to
conserving resources and protecting the environment.
In Germany, HORNBACH is obliged:
• to take back an old appliance of the same type, free of
charge, upon the purchase of a new electrical or electron-
ic appliance, at the HORNBACH market.
• to accept the return of up to 3 old electrical or electron-
ic appliances of the same type (up to max. 25 cm edge
length) free of charge at HORNBACH stores, even if no
new appliances are purchased.
• to collect an old appliance of the same type free of
charge when delivering a new electrical or electronic ap-
pliance to a private household, or to enable you to return
it in your immediate vicinity.
For additional information, please visit www.hornbach.com
or your local authority.
Under no circumstances should children be permitted to
play with plastic bags and packaging material, since this
poses a risk of injury and/or suffocation. Store such ma-
terial safely or dispose of it in an environmentally friendly
manner.
