10. Belt adjustment
• Correct adjustment and centring of the conveyor belt is important for correct functioning and extends the
belt's useful life. Therefore, the following instructions regarding adjustment of the belt must always be
adhered to:
1. Loosen both bolts on the mounting brackets (pos. 3 and 4, 11 and 12).
2. Tightening and centring of the belt is achieved by adjusting the through-going bolts in the insert plate
(pos. 1 and 2, 9 and 10).
3. The belt must be centred on both the motor (pos. 16) and the drum (pos. 17). Leave the belt to run for a
couple of minutes before making the final adjustment.
4. Tighten both bolts on the mounting brackets (pos. 3 and 4, 11 and 12).
11. Internal fuse
• All CU and CCU units are equipped with a fuse to protect the internal control unit. In the event of errors or
overloading, the fuse in the internal control unit will protect critical internal components (use max FIN 160
mA when replacing fuses). The conveyor belt's 230/110 (UK) Volt power supply must always be protected by
an HPFI relay and max 16 Amp.
12. Fault indicator
• CU conveyor belt: The fault indicator is lit and the belt stops. The reason could be overloading of the motor,
a fault in the frequency converter or activation of the emergency stop. The fault indicator is not lit if the
conveyor belt's 230/110 (UK) Volt power supply fails.
• CCU conveyor belt: The fault indicator is lit and the belt stops. The reason could be overloading of the
motor, a fault in the frequency converter or activation of the emergency stop. The fault indicator is not lit if
the conveyor belt's 230/110 (UK) Volt power supply fails.
• Series connection: If a drum motor in the conveyor belt is overloaded, the control will automatically stop
the entire series connection, and the fault indicator on the unit with the overloaded motor is lit.
• Series connection: In the event of a frequency converter fault, the control will automatically stop the entire
series connection, and the fault indicator on the unit with a defective internal control is lit.
• Series connection: If the 230/110 (UK) Volt power supply to a unit in the series connection fails, the entire
line will automatically stop, and the fault indicators on all other units are lit.

15. Warranty, the warranty becomes null and void if:
• the conveyor belt is used for other purposes or in other ways than described in this manual
• a high-pressure cleaner is aimed directly at the conveyor belt's control box.
16. Service
• The conveyor belt must be given a complete overhaul by a qualified service company once a year.
