SAFETY LIGHT / FLASHLIGHT. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
Please read these instructions before using your safety light / flashlight. Be sure to
charge the work light before the first use.
y CAUTION: Do not use this work light in explosive atmospheres, near flammable
liquids, or where explosion-proof lamps are required. Do not immerse in water.
y CAUTION: For light duty work only.
CHARGING
INITIAL USE
Fully charge the safety light / flashlight before the first use. If the battery is new
or has been unused for several months, several charge and discharge cycles may be
needed to reach full battery capacity. To reach maximum performance, run the light
to completely discharge the battery and then recharge. Each charge cycle will extend
the operation time until maximum capacity is achieved. The charge time for maximum
capacity is approximately 8 hours.
REGULAR USE
y Use only the supplied AC or DC charging adapter.
y For best performance, charge the safety light / flashlight when the LED's start to dim.
y Connect the AC power adapter to the light. The red indicator will light.
y The red light indicates the safety light / flashlight is being charged. The red light
remains on until the battery is fully charged. At full charge, the light turns off. The total
time to full charge varies depending on the remaining charge in the battery pack.
y Keep the safety light / flashlight plugged into the charger to maintain a trickle charge.
TIPS TO EXTEND BATTERY LIFE
y The safety light / flashlight Lithium-ion internal battery does not have any recharge
memory effect. Charging the safety light / flashlight often helps extend its useful life.
y A new safety light / flashlight or one that has not been used for a long period of time
may not accept a full charge initially. This is normal and does not indicate a problem.
Fully discharge and then charge the unit several times to condition the battery pack for
full capacity. As the battery pack capacity increases the charge time shortens.
y Charge the unit after each use, whether the safety light / flashlight is fully discharged
or not.

y Store the safety light / flashlight at room temperature
OPERATION
TURNING THE SAFETY LIGHT / FLASHLIGHT ON/OFF
All models have two body switches that control the flashlight and the safety light.
The flashlight and safety light functions can be operated independently and together.
MODES
y The upper switch controls the flashlight. Lightly press the switch for momentary
flashlight operation. For constant on, press the switch until it clicks. Press again for off.
y The lower switch controls the safety light. Press for constant (non-flashing) safety
light. Press again to activate alternating strobe. Press again for off.
CLEANING
y Disconnect the light from the power source
y Wipe with a clean dry soft cloth
y Do not use any solvent or abrasive cleaners
BAYCO PRODUCTS LIMITED 1-YEAR WARRANTY
WARRANTY
Bayco Products, Inc. warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship
and materials to the original purchaser for one (1) year from the date of purchase, and
includes the LEDs, housing, lenses, electronics, switches, rechargeable batteries and
chargers. Bulbs (other than LEDs) are covered for ninety (90) days from the date of
purchase. Disposable non-rechargeable batteries are excluded from this warranty.
Normal wear and failures which are caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, faulty
installation and lightning damage are also excluded.
Consequential damages, incidental damages or incidental expenses, including
damage to property are also not covered under this warranty. Some states do not
allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above
limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights,
which may vary from state to state.
IN NO EVENT WILL BAYCO PRODUCTS, INC. OR ITS AFFILIATES OR
SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF
ACTION, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT
LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE. THE TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO CUSTOMER,
FROM ALL CAUSES OF ACTION AND ALL THEORIES OF LIABILITY, WILL BE
LIMITED TO AND WILL NOT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT
PAID BY CUSTOMER.
If this product is used for rental purposes, the warranty term is reduced to 90 days
from the date of purchase.
WARRANTY CLAIMS – USA
Return the product to the place of purchase for all warranty related issues. If this is
not possible, contact Bayco Customer Service at (800) 233-2155 M-F 8-5 Central Time
for a Return Goods Authorization (RGA). Do not return this product to Bayco without first
receiving an RGA Number from Bayco Customer Service. When returning the product,
the RGA Number must be written on the outside of the shipping box.
WARRANTY CLAIMS – OUTSIDE OF USA
Return the product to the place where purchased for all warranty related issues.
EXTENT OF COVERED WARRANTY WORK
Bayco will repair or replace this product at our option. If it is determined that the
warranty is no longer in effect, Bayco will contact you with a repair estimate before
beginning any work.
