2. Installation instructions
The Cosi built in burner is supplied complete with pressure regulator and gas hose. You only need to purchase a
propane gas bottle. These can be purchased at your local gas supplier.
1. Installing the Cosi built in burner
Get your Cosi built in burner carefully from its packaging. Select the location for your Cosi built in burner. The
location must meet the following conditions:

Make sure that the built-in burner is placed on a non-flammable surface. The surface should be
completely flat and clean. The built-in burner may not be installed in materials which conduct the heat.
Don't place the build in burner in steel, metal of glass surface.

The Cosi built in burner should be placed at least two meters away from flammable materials and liquids.

The Cosi insert burner has an extra security plate on the underside of the burner. The space around the
burner must be at least 25 cm from the heart of the burner. A minimum distance of 5 cm is required at
the bottom.

The Cosi insert burner can be mounted in tables that can withstand the released heat (natural stone,
wood, composite, aluminium).
Make a recess in for example the garden table or a different place you are willing to install the insert burner.

After making the recess you can place the Cosiburner into your table from above. Have you purchased a
Cosiburner straight? Then the burner is easier to position if the control knob is first removed from the burner.
Once the burner is put into the recess, place the control knob back on the burner.
Warning: When the appliance is to put on the table,
the appliance and table shall not tilt over when placed
in the most unfavourable position on a 10◦ inclined
plane. The table must be stable and the 60 cm height
of the table would be better. The width of the table
must be between 60 cm to 100 cm. The length of the
table must be between 80 cm to 130 cm. if not, it may
cause dangers. The following table if for example.
Always place the gas tank as far from the appliance as
possible.
Before the Cosiburner is ready to use you have to place an AAA-battery for the piezo ignition. Please see '2.6
Replacing the battery for the piezo ignition.'
