• The use of any electric appliance involves compliance with certain basic rules.
In particular:
- never touch the appliance with wet or damp hands;
- never use the appliance with bare feet;
- never pull the power cord or the appliance to remove the plug from the
wall socket;
- never leave the appliance outdoors where it can be exposed to the weather
conditions (rain, such, etc.);
- never let children or disabled persons use the appliance unattended.
• Turn off the appliance and do not tamper with it in any way if it becomes faulty and/or
operates in an incorrect way. Repairs must only be carried out by a customer service
centre authorized by the manufacturer. Always insist on genuine spare parts. Failure
to comply with this recommendation could impair the safety of the appliance.
• Should you decide to stop using an appliance of this type, remember to
render it unusable by cutting off the power cable after having removed the
plug from the power socket.
Also make sure that all parts of the appliance liable to constitute a danger
are made harmless, particularly for children who could decide to use an old
appliance as a toy.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended while it's functioning.
• Before inserting the plug in the power supply network, make sure the ON/
OFF key of the appliance is set to OFF. This acts as a protection should the
appliance suddenly and unexpectedly start up.
• Do not use the appliance next to a bath, to a shower or to a swimming
pool in order to avoid electric shocks.
Do not use the appliance in places it may accidentally be damaged.
• Do not let people having a shower, having a bath, or who are in another kind
of recipient full of water touch the appliance.
• Do not put your fingers or other foreign matter between the grids of the
protection grating. You would run the risk of electric shock and of being
consequently injured.
• Do not obstruct the openings and slots for ventilation and heat discharge.
• Do not place the fan above or near another heat source. WARNING: AVOID
