Electric free-standing fireplace Use instructions
It is important to read these instructions carefully before using
the appliance for the first time.
1) Some parts of the appliance may become hot during operation. To
avoid burns, do not touch the appliance while in use. Keep inflam-
mable materials (such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes,
and curtains) at least 1 m from the front of the appliance and keep
them away from the sides and rear.
In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
2) Extreme caution is necessary when the appliance is used near
children or the infirm; do not leave the appliance operating unatten-
ded.
3) Always unplug heater when not in use.
4) Do not use the appliance in case the cord is damaged, and do not
plug the appliance in case of malfunctions, in case it has been drop-
ped or damaged in any manner. Return it to authorised service facility
for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
5) Do not use outdoors.
6) This appliance is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas
and similar indoor locations. Never locate the appliance where it may
fall into a bathtub or other water container.
7) Do not place the power cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord
with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away
from traffic area, to avoid any risk of tripping.
8) To disconnect the appliance, turn the power switch off, then remo-
ve plug from outlet.
9) Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or
exhaust opening, to avoid any risk of electric shock or fire or damage
the appliance.
11) To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in
any manner. Do not place the appliance on soft surfaces (such as
beds or cushions), where openings many become blocked.
12) Keep the appliance away from inflammable materials and liquids
(gasoline, etc.).
13) Use the appliance only as described in this manual. Any other
use may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
14) DANGER-HIGH Temperatures may be generated under cer-
tain abnormal conditions. Do not partially or fully cover or ob-
struct the front of the appliance.
15) Replacement of the lamps should be done only while the heater
is disconnected from the supply circuit.
