• Do not hang or even lean the appliance against any walls.
• Place the fan heater far from any other source of heat, from flammable material (curtains,
tapestries, etc.), from flammable gases or explosive objects (spray cans) and from materials that
can be deformed by heat. Make sure there is 120 cm of free space in front of the fan heater and
50cm free space on both sides and behind it.
• The surface where the appliance is used must be stable, spacious (do not use on shelves), level
(since the appliance could tip over) and heat resistant.
USING THE APPLIANCE
The appliance has thesi safety element: equipped with a safety device, which turns off the appliance
in the event of overheating. To start it again, remove the plug from the mains and allow it to cool
(approximately 10/20 minutes).
First use: run the appliance to eliminate the "new smell" and any oil residue from the manufacturing
process for at least 10/15 minutes, thermostat at the max position. During this operation, ventilate
the room well to eliminate the "new smell" that is given off by the appliance.
To use the heating fan, follow these steps:
1. Insert the plug in the power socket.
2. Turn the thermostat knob clockwise to the temperature required.
3. Adjust the knob to the position of the required function. By turning the relative knob completely
anti-clockwise the heating fan remains off (pos."0"), when turned completely clockwise it is set
on the maximum temperature, in intermediate positions the surrounding temperature is lower.
4. To turn the appliance off, turn the adjustable thermostat in pos."0" and remove the plug from the
mains.
If the appliance is not being used for long periods of time, remove the plug from the plug point.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Warning: before cleaning the appliance, turn it off, remove the plug from the plug point and wait
until it cools down.
• Periodically check that the air-intake grill is not obstructed by fuzz or threads. If the filter is dirty,
that hold the rear grill, unhook it and clean the net with a brush or water, taking care not to damage
it; then dry it perfectly and replace it in its seat. Reassemble the grill.
• To clean the main outer casing using a soft, damp cloth; do not use steel wool or abrasive products.
• If the fan heater is not used for long period of time, cover it and store it in a dry place; it is advisable
to place it in the original packaging to protect it from dust and moisture.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or another liquid. Do not wash it with running water or in
the dishwasher.
• If you decide to no longer use the appliance, it is recommended that it is made inoperative by
cutting the power cord (first ensure that the appliance has been unplugged from the power supply),
and ensure that any parts that could represent a risk to playing children are put away.
Correctly disposing of the product as per European Directive 2011/65/UE.
At the end of its lifespan, the product must not be disposed of as part of ordinary waste. It can be
handed in to specific collection points set up by the local authority, or to retailers who provide such
a service.
Disposing of a household appliance separately avoids possible negative consequences for the
environment and human health resulting from inappropriate disposal and allows to recover the
materials from which it is made in order to obtain significant savings in energy and resources. As a
reminder of the obligation to dispose of appliances separately, the product is marked with a crossed-
out wheelie bin symbol. Incorrect disposal of the product by the user will lead to sanctions according
to current law.
