The appliance must be placed under an extractor hood (the water vapor which escapes from the EN
appliance during its operation can thus be evacuated).
The device can be used in ordinary space according to EN 332000-1.
Ensure that the device is placed so that the user has enough space to operate it.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
ELECTRICAL HAZARD! Danger due to electric current!
The device can cause injury if not properly installed. Before proceeding with its installation, compare the
data of the local electrical network with the indications which appear on the nameplate of the appliance.
• Connect the device only if there is conformity.
• Comply with safety rules.
Before connecting the device, make sure that the nominal voltage and frequency listed on the nameplate
comply with the values of the local electrical network: the maximum voltage difference must be plus or
minus 10%.
A switch with a contact opening of at least 3mm must be installed between the electrical socket and the
appliance.
The device must be earthed.
Place the device so that the socket is easily accessible in order to unplug the device if necessary.
MANUAL
Before first use, the device must be cleaned with a damp cloth and a mild, suitable detergent. Rinse and
dry.
Switch on the device using the main "ON/OFF" switch. The green power-on indicator light comes on.
Turn the thermostat knob to the desired temperature. The second orange indicator light is on when the
resistances heat up and goes out when the desired temperature is reached. To turn off the appliance,
position the thermostat button on "0" and press the main switch.
After use, allow the device to cool down.
Check and empty the grease trap regularly.
REMARK
The appliance is equipped with a safety system in case of overheating. In the event of tripping, unplug the
appliance and allow it to cool. If this protection system activates regularly, it is essential to contact your
retailer.
After automatic shutdown, the device can only be put into operation by pressing the Reset button on the
back of the device. To do this, wait for the temperature to drop, press the Reset button.
