Note: Before starting installation, disconnect the power
by turning off the circuit breaker or removing the fuse
!
at fuse box. Turning power off using the fan switch is
not sufficient to prevent electric shock.
1. Remove the 1 of the 3 screws from the mounting plate and keep it
for future use. Loosen the other 2 screws. Do not remove them.
2. While holding the light holder under your fan, make the
polarized plug connections:
- White to white
- Blue to black
3. Place the key holes on the light kit over the 2 screws previously
loosened from the mounting plate, and turn light kit until it locks in
place at the narrow section of the key holes. Secure by tightening
the 2 screws previously loosened and the one previously
removed. (Fig. 13)
4. Install three 40 W E12 bulbs (not included). (Fig. 14)
5. Remove the plastic nut and decorative nut from the light kit.
6. Raise the glass shade up against the light kit, place the plastic
nut over the light kit and turn it clockwise until it locks up
against the light kit. Do not over-tighten. Secure the decorative
nut provided. (Fig. 14)
