BEFORE YOU GET STARTED
Tally is packaged with protective shims underneath the weigh pan,
which should be removed before use, but do NOT dispose of them.
The shims are essential if you plan on transporting Tally because they
protect the load cell from damage. To safely remove the shims, follow
the directions on Page 9 of your Safety Manual for how to remove and
reinstall the weigh pan.
