7. Commissioning
Testing before setup:
An appropriate exhaust system must be connected on site to the outlet connector (DN160) for the extraction of hazar-
dous substances. Please refer to section 10 "Technical data" for the ventilation values
Commissioning:
•
The ventilation values (see section 10 "Technical data") of the suction unit have been determined by the ventilation
test method according to EN 14175-3 (5.4.4).
•
Establish an on-site extraction air connection. A negative infl uence on the fl ow behaviour in the suction unit must
be avoided. Depending on the place of installation and the possible disturbances associated with it, considerably
larger extraction air volumes may be necessary in practice than the values set during the ventilation test.
•
Open windows and doors at the place of installation (creation of air currents)
•
Incorrect operation (i.e. no fast movements > 1m/s)
8. Maintenance, care
Cleaning with normal mild household cleaners. Escaped fl uids should be collected / removed immediately.
9. Ventilation adjustments
Effi cient, secure retention of the pollutants in the suction unit is achieved through an optimum combination of fresh
and extraction air.
Please note:
•
The retention capacity of the suction unit depends on the air speeds achieved for the fresh air stream of the device.
•
The determination of optimised fresh and extraction air fl ow ratios is signifi cantly infl uenced by air movements pre-
sent at the place of installation.
