be fi tted and the hose can be connected to the
hose reel from underneath. To prevent the quick-
lock coupling from working itself free, it must be
secured with the help of the fastening clasp.

maintenance fl ap must be refi tted. After the
battery is inserted, the hose can be wound up by
pressing the button.
8. Disposal and recycling
The equipment is supplied in packaging to
prevent it from being damaged in transit. The
raw materials in this packaging can be reused or
recycled. The equipment and its accessories are
made of various types of material, such as metal
and plastic. Never place defective equipment in
your household refuse. The equipment should
be taken to a suitable collection center for proper
disposal. If you do not know the whereabouts of
such a collection point, you should ask in your
local council offi ces.
9. Storage
Store the equipment and its accessories out
of children's reach in a dark and dry place at
above freezing temperature. The ideal storage
temperature is between 50°F and 104°F (10°C
and 40°C). Keep the electric tool in its original
packaging.

Before lengthy periods of non-use or winter
storage, rinse the garden hose of the cordless
hose reel thoroughly with water, empty it
completely and store it in a dry place.

The equipment must be completely drained if
there is a risk of frost.
10. Transport
Plug the connection hose on the nipple (Fig. 14/
Item 11).
