SCREENSAVER
If the unit is not used for 2 minutes, the screen saver will be activated. This will
prolong the service life of the connected TV set. The screen saver is preset to
"ON".
HDCD
This function is used to select HDCD discs. However, the function is only active
when playing HDCD format discs.
OFF: HDCD's will be played like normal audio CD's.
1X (44.1K) or 2X (88.2K): HDCD's will be played at a frequency of 44.1KHz or
88.2KHz if possible. (This setting depends on the contents of disc).

DOWNMIX
Here the analogue sound format is selected.
LT/RT: A kind of Dolby Pro Logic format. It's used when the unit is connected
to a Pro Logic receiver through stereo RCA cables.
Stereo: Used when the unit is connected to a TV solely through a Scart cable
or when the unit is connected to a Dolby Pro Logic II receiver through stereo
RCA cables.
SPDIF SETUP
Here you set up the digital sound format that comes from the co-axial or optical
output on the back panel. This signal is used when the unit is connected to a
digital surround receiver.
OFF: Closes the digital outputs
RAW: Opens for the pure, non-modulated digital signal.
PCM: Stands for Pulse Code Modulation. It may be necessary to activate this
function if the digital surround receiver cannot recognise the sound format.
