Med ECO900 frostskyddsstyrenheten levereras ett 82 kΩ motstånd.

I stället för motståndet kan temperaturgivaren ECOA904 installeras. I detta fall visas i display-
ens grundläge luftens temperatur utöver markens/takrännans temperatur och fuktighet. Om
nederbörd är att vänta på grund av att utetemperaturen sjunker snabbt, kopplas värmen på för
ca 1 timme vid temperaturer under +7 °C.
4. Teknisk data
Temperaturgivaren är tillverkad av en kabel med ett isolerat NTC motstånd på ändan (bild 1).

Installation instructions
1. Introduction
•
The ECOA904 is an air temperature sensor which can be connected to the ECO900 frost protec-
tion control unit.
•
In rainwater systems the sensor is used to measure the temperature of a gutter.
•
The sensor can also be used as an accessory both in outdoor areas and rainwater systems. In
this case the sensor is connected instead of the 82 kΩ resistor that is supplied with the ECO900
frost protection control unit.
•
ECO900 frost protection control unit is available as versions 1 and 2.
VERSION 1
2. Install the sensor
•
Install the air temperature sensor ECOA904 with a cable clamp (not supplied with the equip-
ment) either outside the gutter or on the wall nearby (figure 2).
•
Ensure that the sensor is protected from direct sunlight.
•
Do not fit the sensor in areas where heat accumulation can occur, i.e. above windows, near
lights or a chimney.
•
You can extend the connection cable to 50 meters by using a 1,5 mm² cable. Please use a cable
with numbered leads for the extension as it is very helpful for example when trying to locate
faults during a malfunction.
•
Figure 2 shows the installation of the snow and ice sensor ECO903 and the air temperature
sensor ECOA904:
