4. USE AND MAINTENANCE
4.1 USER
WARNING: unplug the appliance before performing any maintenance or cleaning.
Do not store in the refrigerated display any product that requires strict controls of temperature such as medicines, scientific material or in
general all those products sensitive to slightest temperature variations.
The units for gastronomy or delicatessen products are showcases designed for refrigerated display and are not suitable for food storage.
The food must be kept inside for the period needed for presentation and sale.
If there is excessive condensation inside the showcase, turn off the appliance, empty it and wait for an hour. Dry the inside excess moisture
and leave the doors open. Leaving to much humidity inside may cause unpleasant odors and mold can develop.
Do not use wet sponges or spray cleaning products directly on the display. To clean, use a slightly moistened soft cloth or paper.
Do not clean the unit spraying water above it. Do not use aggressive chemical products, benzene or solvents as they may
damage the unit.
The units which this manual refers to can be used for conservation and service of wine, and for the display and conservation of
food products such as chocolate, cured meats, cheese, desserts etc. Do not make food products directly touch the unit, please
use treys or containers suitable for food use.
Place products still in their packaging and unopened bottles. In case a bottle breaks and liquid leaks into the refrigerated
compartment, turn off the unit and cleanse with neutral products.
Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant inside the appliance.
Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate defrosting process, other than those recommended by the
manufacturer (IEC 60335-2-89).
Do not damage the refrigerant circuit (IEC 60335-2-89).
Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartments of the appliance, unless they are of the type recommended
by the manufacturer (IEC 60335-2-89).
4.2 TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
WARNING: the maintenance operation must be performed exclusively by skilled technicians. Lamp replacement must be carried
out by a specialized technician.
The refrigerating gas used are R134a - R404A - R600a.
To verify the type and quantity of gas used for each unit please check the label located underneath the internal aluminium lid
(A4), the label on the compressor or the lable on the conformity declaration shown at the bottom of this manual.
Regularly it may be necessary to clean the condenser with a brush, vacuum cleaner or blowing compressed air. It might be
useful to remove the fan that is placed above condenser. The cleaning frequency depends on the site conditions and in particular
by the regular cleaning of the floor and can vary from 6 months to 2 years.
The condenser is located in the bottom base on the right lateral side (A5). To access the technical compartment follow the
instructions below:

For appliances which use flammable insulation blowing gases, instructions shall include information regarding disposal of the
