Connect side carriers (11) and (12) to fastening clips (1) and (6) and to the
crossbar (14) using the quick-release fasteners (13). Secure the quick-
release fasteners using the lock washers. Make sure to position the spacers
(14) between the license plate holder and the crossbar (13).
Use a sharp object (for example, a screwdriver) to mark the drilling positions
on the inside of the license plate holder; use the spacers (14) as a guide.
Remove side carriers (11) and (12) with the crossbar (14) and the spacers (15).
WARNING: Risk of injury!
Using a 6.5mm bit, drill the mounting holes from the inside of the license
plate holder; deburr the edges of the holes.
