Attention: Risk of tool damage.
• The tool is not filled with motor or gearbox oil from the factory. Before operation, the fuel tank must be filled.
• Use a mixture of synthetic two-stroke motor oil and unleaded gasoline. Add 30 ml of oil per litre of gasoline.
• Never use oil made for 4-stroke or water-cooled 2-stroke engines as this can cause spark plug fouling, exhaust port blocking or piston ring sticking.
• Mixed fuel, which has been left unused in the fuel tank for a period of one month or more may clog the carburetor or result in the engine failing to operate
properly. Fill up airtight containers with old fuel and keep them in a dark and cool room.
Warning: Fire hazard.
• Always shut off the engine and wait for it to cool down before filling the fuel tank.
1. Unscrew the fuel tank cap and remove it. (Fig. 20-21)
2. Pour in the fuel carefully. Avoid spilling. (Fig. 22)
3. Screw the fuel tank cap back on firmly by hand.
Draining the fuel tank
1. Hold a container beneath the fuel tank cap.
2. Unscrew the fuel tank cap and remove it. (Fig. 20-21)
3. Allow the fuel tank to empty completely.
4. Screw the fuel tank cap back on firmly by hand.
