AC102EM30
30 Degree Extended Magazine
For use with RIDGID R09895 Framing Nailer only.
These instructions are for replacing the stock magazine
included with the R09895 Framing Nailer. For complete
operating instructions, including instructions for loading
and unloading the magazine, refer to the R09895
Operator's Manual.
WARNING:
To reduce the risk of injury, user must read
and understand the operator's manual for
their nailer and this instruction sheet. Always
wear eye protection marked to comply with
ANSI Z87.1. Ensure compatibility and fit
before using this accessory. Do not use this
accessory if a part is damaged or missing.
WARNING:
Always remove battery pack from the tool when
you are assembling parts, making adjustments,
cleaning, or when not in use. Removing battery
pack will prevent accidental starting that could
cause serious personal injury.
INSTALLING THE EXTENDED MAGAZINE
See Figures 1 - 4.
The load capacity of the stock magazine included with
the R09895 Framing Nailer is 60 nails. The AC102EM30
extended magazine can hold up to 94 nails reducing the
need to reload during extended periods of use.
 Remove battery pack and remove nails from the tool.
 Lay the tool on its side with the magazine facing up.
 Using the 4 mm hex key included with the nailer,
loosen but do not remove the two socket head cap
screws in the workpiece contact assembly and the
socket head cap screw on the side of the nailer.
 Slide the magazine away from the workpiece contact
assembly until the head of the side screw is inside the
wide portion of the magazine bracket.
 Remove the magazine.
 Place the extended magazine's bracket over the
screw on the side of the nailer.
 Slide the extended magazine toward the workpiece
contact assembly until the head of the side screw is
inside the narrow portion of the magazine bracket.
 Align the holes at the front of the extended magazine
with the screws in the workpiece contact assembly.

 Tighten the front screws first and then the side screw
to secure the magazine in place. Do not overtighten.
 To reinstall the stock magazine included with the
R09895 Framing Nailer, reverse the above steps.
