Insertion the batteries
1.
Please remove the black plastic cap from the upper side of the box.
2.
Insert the enclosed key in the lock below and turn the key to the left on the icon of the open lock.
3.
Now, please turn the large adjusting knob also to the left, so that the black point on the knob is positioned below the
icon of the open lock (Figure 1).
4.
Open the box now, remove the lid from the battery compartment and insert the batteries in the battery compartment
according to the icons (Attention! observe polarity).
Programming of the numerical code
1.
Press the red reset button on the side of the lock casing, then a signal sounds 2 x and the diode above the keyboard il-
luminates yellow.
2.
Now, please enter the desired numerical code (3 - 8 digits) and confirm the entry with the #-key.
3.
For testing the entered code, please enter it again and press the #-key. The signal sounds 2 x and the diode illuminates
green. If not, please repeat the programming as described before.
4.
Close the box and turn the large adjusting knob to the right on the icon of the closed lock (Figure 2).
5.
Please turn the key also to the right on the icon of the closed lock, remove the key and put the black plastic cap on the
lock again.
Opening of the box / modification of the numerical code
1.
For opening the box, please enter your selected numerical code and press the #-key. The signal sounds 2 x and the
diode illuminates in green for 5 seconds. During this time you can turn the large adjusting knob to the left so that the
black point is positioned on the icon of the open lock and the box can be opened. If you have waited too long for enter-
ing the numerical code and the diode has turned off, please repeat the procedure.
2.
If you want to modify the numerical code, please start with point 1 "Programming of the numerical code".
Forgotten code or weak batteries
1.
If you have forgotten the numerical code, please remove the black plastic cap, insert one of the enclosed keys in the lock
and turn it to the left on the icon of the open lock.
2.
Now, turn the large adjusting knob also to the left so that the black point is positioned on the icon of the open lock and
open the box.
3.
As described in the point „Programming of the numerical code", you can enter a new numerical code now.
4.
If the batteries are weak, the diode on the lock illuminates red. Please open the box with the key (as described) and
replace the batteries.
Attention:
1.
Please turn the emergency lock by means of the key to the "locked" symbol (Figure 2). Otherwise you can still open the
lock without entering the code.

Disposal of the product
Dear customer, at the end of the product's service life, please dispose of it properly.
Our product contains valuable materials that can be recycled. Please contribute to waste avoidance.
Owners of old appliances must separate used batteries and accumulators that are not enclosed by the old appliance from the old appliance before handing them in
at a collection point.
Please note that electrical and electronic equipment and batteries labelled in this way must not be disposed with household waste, but must be collected
separately. Please enquire about collection points for batteries and electrical waste at the responsible office in your city / municipality
Used batteries must not be disposed of with household waste, as they may contain toxic elements and heavy metals that can be harmful to the environment
and human health.
Consumers are therefore obliged to return batteries free of charge to retailers or local collection points. Used batteries are recycled. They contain important
raw materials such as iron, zinc, manganese or nickel.
The symbols under the waste garbage can indicate the following:
Pb: The battery contains lead
Cd: The battery contains cadmium
Hg: The battery contains mercury
