4 - Familiarise yourself with the intended purpose
The metal trestle serves to create a wallpapering table or a surface for storing tools and workpieces in the DIY field.
The metal trestle is not designed for commercial use. Any other use is improper!
The consequences of improper use may be:
∙ Injuries to users or other persons in the vicinity
∙ Damage to the metal trestle, the workpiece or objects in the vicinity of the metal trestle
∙ Invalidity of the warranty, guarantee, liability and insurance
Support surface
Work height
Work width on the beam
Own weight
Load-bearing capacity
5 - Assembly of the metal trestle
Moving parts with a clamping effect.
CAUTION
Risk of injury when body parts are crushed/caught.
Handle moving parts carefully.
During assembly, only tighten the screws slightly at first.

Spread the support legs of the side parts. Hook in the long locking struts.

Insert the standpipes into the side parts.

Set both standpipes to the same height.
Secure the standpipes with the lock splints.

Connect the side parts with the longitudinal strut.

Ensure that the correct screws are used.

Hook in the short locking struts.

Mount the foot struts.

Align the metal trestle correctly and then tighten all screws.

6 - Use the metal trestle
Application example

Fig. 6.2: Observe the following safety rules:
∙ Both metal trestles must be set to the same work height. Boards at various heights
The metal trestles form a slanted surface. Any objects placed on this surface could slip and fall down.
∙ The planks must be strong enough so that they do not bend under load.
If the planks bend, the objects on them may slip, topple over or fall down.
∙ The ends of the planks may only protrude minimally.
If a load is applied on the protruding end, this may cause the other end to flip upwards.
