Remove the contents from box and check for damage. Verify all parts are present. Read instructions com-

Determine passenger and driver brackets.
STEP 2

Remove six screws from lower part of bumper that secures the plastic shroud. Move plastic shroud to gain
STEP 3
access to tow hook bolts.
Locate the 10mm bolts that attach the tow hooks to the frame.
STEP 4.
Remove the two front bolts from each side and attach brackets and replace fasteners.
STEP 5.
Attach Safari Bar to brackets using 1/2" fasteners. Leave loose.
STEP 6.
Center and level the Safari Bar. Torque 10mm fasteners to 35 FT.LBS. and 1/2" fasteners to 65 FT.LBS.
STEP 7.
Re-install screws that secure plastic shroud.
STEP 8.
FINISH PROTECTION
Westin products have a high quality finish that must be cared for like any other exposed finish on the vehicle. Protect the finish with a non-abrasive automotive wax,
(e.g. Pure Carnauba) on a regular basis. The use of any soap, polish or wax that contains an abrasive is detrimental, as the compounds scratch the finish and open it to
corrosion.
