12.5 PRB – External Temperature Probe
Selecting the measurement mode
In PRB mode, the temperature of the external
probe is displayed at the bottom right of the "PRB"
icon if an external temperature probe is connect-
ed. (ambient air temperature probe, surface tem-
perature probe)
It is not necessary to press a key. The external
temperature is permanently displayed.
If no external probe is connected, "noP" (no
probe) appears instead.
WARNING!
After measuring very high temperatures, the
probe remains hot for a while.
NOTE!
In PRB mode, the unit does not switch off for 12
minutes. To switch off faster, change the mode.
