- Charging batteries, not included : Open the battery compartment
under the device and insert 3 AAA batteries, matching the polarities.
Close the cover.
- Hand crank dynamo recharge : Using the hand crank handle under
the unit, turn clockwise or counterclockwise to recharge the unit. The
charging indicator lights red during charging.
1 minute of hand crank dynamo recharge allows use:
- 1 minute front lighting
- 4-6 minutes FM radio (medium volume)
When the battery is discharged below the limit level, the device turns
off to protect the battery life. Then recharge the device. The device
may heat up slightly during charging. Do not use the device while
charging. Turn off the device while charging.
