Lower the tailgate and remove all tailgate accessories prior to
installation. Clean your truck bed and tailgate with soap and
water or TechCare® Gentle Car™ Shampoo and dry thoroughly
before installing the Tailgate TechLiner®.

While the Tailgate TechLiner® is flattening, use the enclosed
Torx bit to remove the bolts (up to 10) from the tailgate as
shown.

Locate the bolts you previously removed from the access
panel. Hand tighten all bolts in their original holes first, then
tighten each one using the Torx bit. Do not over tighten.

Installation Instructions

Place Tailgate TechLiner® on a dry flat surface. Unfold and lay
out to flatten the liner. For best results, lay liner in the sun and
put a small weight on each of the corners. Locate the hook and
loop on the bottom of the Tailgate TechLiner® – keep the hook
and loop clean and do not remove the backing yet.

Lay the Tailgate TechLiner®, hook and loop facing down, onto
the tailgate, making certain the features align. Do not remove
the plastic backing from the hook and loop at this time.

If your vehicle is equipped with a spray-in bed liner, hook and
loop attachment points should be prepped with the Primer 94
Ampules (2-3 rectangles per ampule). Apply to the area the
hook and loop will occupy and let stand for 5 minutes or until
dry. This step can be skipped with standard painted surfaces.
