10. After tightening the hinges, check that the door seals
are in good alignment with the refrigerator casing
throughout. If this is not the case, the rubber seal can
easily be pulled off, turned 180° and then pressed back
into the rebate.
11. Checking and cleaning the rubber seals
A. Method 1: Clamp a thin piece of paper in various places. The paper should be difficult to pull out in all
these places.
B. Method 2: Place a torch on a shelf inside the appliance and aim the light at the seal; close the door and see
if you can see any light.
If the seal is uneven, heat the seal rubber in the affected areas with a hairdryer and shape them with your
fingers.
Keep the door seals clean. Sticky food and drink can make the seals stick to the cabinet and then tear when
you open the door. Clean the seal with a mild detergent and warm water. After cleaning, rinse well and dry.
Caution! Do not switch on the appliance until the door seals are completely dry.
Install the handle
1. Remove the covers from the
screw holes.
2. The handle is in a freezer
drawer. Screw the handle to the
door using the screws supplied.
