- Page 5 Installation Steps: | Étapes d'installation: Step 1 | Étape 1 a. Using a level, ensure wall jambs (1) are plumb and mark the outside edge with a pencil. Then mark the screw holes that are on the inside of the jamb.
- Page 6 Step 3 | Étape 3 Connect top and bottom rails (4) to fixed panels (2) and (3). Ensure rail cap bases (9) are placed on the glass before using rail fixing screws (16). Cap off with rail caps (10). Do not over tighten as this may damage rail cap bases (9).
- Page 7 Step 5 | Étape 5 Drill 4 equally spaced 3.2mm holes into the wall jambs (1) on the INSIDE of the door. Make sure that your drill holes are more than 30mm away from the edge of the glass, when using smallest screen size, otherwise you may break the glass.
- Page 8 Step 7 | Étape 7 Slide hinge caps (8) over both hinges (7). *Faites glisser les bouchons de charnière (8) sur les deux charnières (7). Hint: Place a small amount of silicone under each cap before installing to ensure the cap remains in position permanently.
- Page 9 Step 8 | Étape 8 Apply silicone sealer around all external joints of shower door and allow 24 hours for silicone to set. Silicone is not used on the inside of the shower screen because in time water can build up with in the wall jamb and cause leaks outside of the shower area.
