Preparing the cassette for installation

Raise the vehicle to facilitate access during the entire installation. Start by mounting
the brackets, with the accompanying fasteners, delivered in a separate package.
Follow the instructions supplied with the brackets. Note that the brackets should
only be tightened lightly so there is some free play for adjusting the positioning of
the cassette.

Cut away the banding around the cardboard packaging. Remove the cardboard
hood, the boxes and the wooden transport brackets. Leave the cassette on the
pallet.

Temporarily remove the screws and associated washers from the four mounting
slides located along the sides of the cassette.
