Rear Camera and Reverse Light Wiring Diagram
InifiniView Lite can also serve as your back up camera. You can choose either to connect the red Reverse Light Connecting
Cable to vehicle's rear taillights (reverse gear) or not. If you choose to connect the red cable directly to reverse gear, it means
you will use automatic reverse mode. This means when you are in reverse, the rear camera will automatically tilt down for a
better viewing angle and back up assisting lines will be shown on the digital mirror to better assist you back up. Below are
basic instructions of how to connect the red wire to reverse gear. However, we strongly recommend you have a professional
installer to do this installation for you. We won't be able to provide any support on this specific installation.
If you choose not to connect the red wire to reverse gear, it means you will use the
reverse mode manually. You will be using the software feature when reverse. See
Page 9 Reverse Mode (Manual) for more details.
1.Route the interconnect cable to connect digital rearview mirror and the rear camera.
2.Route the red Reverse Light Connecting Cable toward either of the vehicle's
rear taillights.
3.Locate your vehicle's reverse light positive wire (see figure 2). The InfiniView Lite's
red Reverse Light Connecting Cable will need to connect to the vehicle's positive
reverse light wire in order for the Reverse Mode to work properly.
4.Connect these wires together using a T-Tap connector or by splicing them
5.Adjust the rear camera to the desired angle
※ It is recommended to have
a professional installer to
complete the installation.
