Troubleshooting
Problem: The tape slips at the feed wheel.
Possible Cause
1. Is the adjustment of the pressure wheel set
correctly?
2. Is the feed wheel dirty?
3. Are the feed wheel, the tape channel or the roll of
tape wet?
Problem: The cutter is not cutting.
Possible Cause
1. Is the cutter clean and lubricated?
2. Are the blades on the cutter dull or worn?

Solution
1. Adjust the pressure wheel. See page 19.
2. Remove any tape from the machine. Brush the feed
wheel from side to side with a stiff brush until the
wheel is clean.
3. Dry the feed wheel and the tape channel. Replace
the roll of tape if necessary.
Solution:
1. Remove and clean the cutter. See page 25.
2. The cutter may need to be replaced by following the
steps outlined on page 45.
