header shield installation
note:
The header shield provides the minimum clearance to the header. Use only non-combustible material for the
width of the appliance.

Remove the 4 screws securing the header shield.
Remove the shipping brackets by breaking them off
or folding them out of the way.

Nailing tab
Secure the header shield with 7 screws (provided)
and remove the shipping brackets.
note:
Screw count varies by model.
Shipping bracket
Type 1 x 7

Once the header shield is removed, replace the 4
screws removed in step 1.

Bend the nailing tabs out 90º.
