3) SERVICING / MAINTENANCE
This trampoline has been designed and manufactured with high quality materials and professional labour. Given
good care and servicing it will provide users with years of exercise, pleasure and leisure while reducing the risks
of injury. Follow the user instructions provided in this manual.
Always inspect the trampoline before each use to check that there are no worn, damaged or missing parts.
In the absence of these checks, trampoline could become dangerous. Pay special attention to the following points :
> Replace the mat in case of perforations, tears or fraying, or if it shows signs of wear such as stretching or
sagging. Remove any snow which builds up on the mat so that it is not damaged by the weight of the snow.
> Some parts of the metal structure must be replaced if a component is bent, deformed or broken. Check that
there are no sharp points.
> Check that the springs are correctly fastened to the metal frame, replace those that are slack or broken.
> Check that the trampoline screws and nuts are tight.
> Check that the protective pad is correctly positioned and attached. The foam pieces must cover the metal
frame and the springs completely. Replace the pad if damaged. In case of snow, rain or strong wind, store the
pad indoors to prevent premature ageing.
> In certain countries during winter period, the snow load and the very low temperature can damage the
trampoline. It is recommended to remove the snow and store the mat and the enclosure indoor.
> The protective net must be installed according to the assembly instructions. Replace the net if damaged. In
case of snow, rain or strong wind, store the net indoors to prevent premature ageing.
> Only original spare parts must be used to repair the product.
> Do not use abrasive products to clean the trampoline. Use a soft damp cloth (fresh water) to clean off any
dirt and dust.
Usual precautions
- If you live in a littoral zone (up to 25km / 15 miles from the seaside), it is essential to rinse your whole trampoline
with fresh water, in particular metallic parts, and store it to the shelter in a dry place in winter.
- If you live in mountainous region (over 1000 metres above sea level), it is necessary to remove very often the
snow accumulated on the trampoline. In winter, it is strongly advised to remove pads, net, as well as jumping
mat and springs.
- During adverse weather conditions as rain, if you notice a quantity of stagnant water on your trampoline, it is
essential not to tilt your trampoline to empty the water but to clean correctly your rain cover or your jumping mat
to allow water to drain naturally without tilting your trampoline.
The protective pad and the net are vital safety components.
They are wearing parts and may need to be changed every year.
IF ANY OF THE CONDITIONS DESCRIBED ABOVE OR ANY OTHER COMPONENT LIKELY TO CAUSE INJURY IS
DETECTED, THE TRAMPOLINE MUST BE DISMANTLED OR ITS USE PROHIBITED UNTIL THE DAMAGE IS REPAIRED.
It is recommended to replace the net every 2 years
