The battery must be charged before using the
device for the first time. The full performance of a
new battery is achieved only after three cycles of full
discharge and charge of the battery.
1. Insert the plug of the AC adapter into a standard
electrical outlet (230V).
2. Connect the charger to a rechargeable battery.
3. Normal charging time is approximately 1 hour.
The battery, adapter and charger become hot during
charging. This does not indicate a malfunction of the
device.
Warning:
Do not charge the battery for more than 2 hours.
Overcharging may shorten battery life.
4. When the battery is fully charged, turn off the
charger by unplugging the AC adapter.
5. Store the battery away from heat sources when
not in use.
Recharging the battery:
If the battery is completely discharged, charge it for 1
hour. Follow steps 1-5 to charge the battery. Do not
recharge the battery repeatedly after a short period of
use (less than 15 minutes). To extend battery life, let
the battery discharge completely before charging.
CHECKING BATTERY CONDITION
Battery status can be checked using the battery
status indicator (8).
Press and hold the button on the battery status
indicator and the LED indicators will light up.
If 3 LED indicators light up (2 green, 1 red), the
device is fully charged. If 2 LEDs
indicator lights (1 green, 1 red) are lit, the device has
half capacity. If 1 LED indicator (1 red) lights up, the
device needs to be charged soon.
Operation
All standard drills and screwdriver bits up to 13 mm
in diameter can be inserted into the chuck. This tool
is equipped with a quick-release chuck, which allows
quick replacement of accessories during operation.
Tool change (C)
Your cordless drill / driver has a fully automatic
SPINDLE LOCK spindle lock.
When the motor is at a standstill, the drive arm locks
automatically so you can open the chuck
by turning. After inserting the required tool
and tighten the chuck firmly immediately
continue to work. Spindle lock up
automatically releases by starting the engine (by
pressing the switch).
Electronic speed control
Electronic speed control allows you to adjust the
speed to the work you are currently doing.
Example: Light trigger pressure = low speed, to
loosen tight screws. Fully depressed trigger = high
speed for drilling.
Warning: Do not allow the motor to lose speed under
load when drilling or screwing in screws!
Changing the direction of rotation
You can change the direction of rotation using the
slide switch above the trigger (4).
Important note: Only change the direction of rotation
when the motor is at a standstill!
Left = move the switch to the position in fig. A1.
Safety position = switch to center position; in this
position of the slide switch it is not possible to lower
the tool, e.g. when replacing bits or drills fig. A2.
Right = turn the switch to the position in fig. A3.
Torque adjustment (G)
The cordless drill has the option of adjusting the
torque in 19 + 1 steps, which serves to prevent
damage to the screw heads or drills. By turning the
control segment on your drill, you can set the required
step from 1 (easy-turn screws) to 16 (heavy-duty
screws or difficult drilling).
- Always select the appropriate torque for the job you
will be performing.
- The setting with the drill symbol is used for drilling.
Switching on and off (D)
To turn on the drill, press and hold the power switch
(3).
To switch off the drill, release the switch (3).
