BEFORE USING
THIS HEATER.
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should
always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock,
injury to persons, and hyperthermia, including the following:
INTENDED USE
· This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by
person responsible for their safety.
· Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or
near children. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not
be done by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
DO NOT cover or block the
heater in any manner.
This heater is hot when in use.
To avoid burns, DO NOT let
bare skin touch hot surfaces.
Use handles when moving
this heater.
Always plug directly into a
wall outlet/receptacle.
Never use with an extension
cord or relocatable power
tap (outlet/power strip).

· For dry areas only. This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms,
laundry areas and similar indoor locations. Do not use this heater in
the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming
pool. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or
other water container.
· Use this heater only for intended household purposes as described in
this User Manual. Any other use not recommended by the
manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
ELECTRICITY SAFETY
· This appliance must be provided with correct voltage via a
professionally installed power socket. Make sure the voltage
indicated on the label of the appliance is the same as your local
supply.
· DO NOT use the heater with a damaged cord or plug. Do not use if
it is dropped or has visible signs of damage. Discard heater, or return
to authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
· If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons.
· This heater draws up to 1500W of power. To prevent overloading of
the electrical circuit, do not plug into a circuit with other appliances
already connected.
· IMPORTANT - This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider
than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is
intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does
not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit,
contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to rig this safety feature.
RELATED TO USE
· DO NOT attempt to disassemble, repair, modify or replace any part
of the appliance. No user serviceable parts inside. All servicing should be
performed by qualified personnel only.
· DO NOT run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw
rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not route cord under furniture
or appliances. Arrange cord away from traffic areas and where it
will not be tripped over.
· A heater has hot or arcing or sparking parts inside. DO NOT use it in
areas where gasoline, paint or flammable liquids are used or stored.
