Safety precautions
This appliance is very simple to use. Nevertheless we advise you to read this instruction manual carefully, as
it contains important information concerning safety, and instructions for cleaning. This appliance is intended
exclusively for household use. Any other usage (professional) is excluded.
The manufacturer does not accept any responsibility in the event of personal injury or damage to property
resulting from failure to comply with the maintenance instructions or improper use of the appliance. After
removing the packaging of the various parts of the appliance, check that they are in perfect condition. If you
have any doubts on the matter, do not use the appliance, and contact the seller or a qualified technician.
Ensure also that the various types of packaging (cardboard, plastic bags, polystyrene, adhesive strips, ties,
etc.) are kept out of the reach of children. These materials pose a potential risk. Before using the appliance,
confirm that the current in your area corresponds to that indicated on the rating plate.
When you use this appliance, please follow the following safety instructions:
WARNING: in order to avoid any risk of fire, electrocution or injury, ensure that you always follow the
following key safety instructions when you use an electrical appliance.

Before using this appliance, read the instruction manual carefully. Keep them safe for future
reference.

This appliance can be used by children over the age of 8 (years), and by people of reduced phy-
sical, sensory or mental capability, or those lacking in experience or knowledge, if they have
had access to supervision or prior instruction concerning the safe use of this appliance and the
associated risks. Children must not play with the appliance.

Cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by children, unless they are over the age of 8
(years) and are under supervision.

Do not leave the appliance unsupervised when it is connected. Unplug the device when it is not

Check the condition of your appliance regularly. Do not use the appliance if it is damaged.

Do not use the appliance if the power cable or the plug is damaged.

Do not pull or carry the appliance by the power cable; do not use the cable as a handle; do not
trap the cable in the door; and do not pull along the sides or sharp edges.

Do not place the appliance on top of the power cable. Do not allow the cable to coil or tangle in
any way. Keep the cable away from hot surfaces.

Do not unplug by pulling the cable. To pull out the plug, take it in your hand and carefully remove
it from the wall socket.
•
Do not handle either the appliance or the plug with wet hands.
•
Pay particular attention to this device, and follow all instructions given in the instruction manual.
•
Only use an extension cable certified for use with the amperage of your country. Extension
cables certified for use with lower amperage pose the risk of electrocution. Ensure that no one
trips over the cable or the plug.
•
Keep this appliance inside and in a dry place.
•
Keep the appliance away from heat sources such as radiators in order to avoid the warping of
plastic parts.
•
Always disconnect the power cable prior to cleaning the appliance.
•
If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, their after-sales service,
or similarly-qualified individuals in order to avoid any danger.
•
Any repairs must be made by the after-sales service or similarly-qualified individuals.
•
Do not use accessories which are not recommended by the manufacturer. This could damage
the appliance.
•
This appliance is for household use only.
•
Do not use this appliance outside.
•
Do not use this appliance near combustible materials.
•
Do not use any accessories other than those provided with the appliance.
•
The lamp found inside the appliance is used to illuminate the appliance. This lamp is not suitable
for lighting a room.
•
WARNING: keep the ventilation openings in the appliance wall or casing clear.
