DRILL SAFETY WARNINGS
- Hold power tool by insulated gripping
surfaces, when performing an operation
where the cutting accessory may contact
hidden wiring. Cutting accessory contacting a
"live" wire may make exposed metal parts of the
power tool "live" and could give the operator an
electric shock.
SCREWDRIVER SAFETY WARNINGS

wiring. Fasteners contacting a "live" wire may
make exposed metal parts of the power tool
"live" and could give the operator an electric
shock.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY WARNINGS
- Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is
damaged.
- Ensure that the voltage indicated on the charger
rating label matches the mains voltage before
plugging in the charger.
- Connect the charger to a socket that can supply
a minimum of 10 amperes.
- Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
- This appliance is for household use only, not
professional, industrial use.
- This appliance is not a toy. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.

If the model of your appliance does not have the
accessories described above, they can also be
bought separately from the Technical Assistance
Service.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
- Caution: A new battery is not fully charged and
must therefore be charged before the appliance
is used for the first time.
- Charge the battery at an atmospheric tempera-
ture of between 4 and 40ºC.
- Plug the charger (G) into the mains.
- Approximately 3 to 5 hours are needed for a
complete charge of the battery. Never attempt to
over charge the battery (although it is recom-
mended that the first charge of the battery be of
5 hours in duration).
- Connect the charger to the screwdriver using
the socket on the appliance. The socket is locat-
ed at the back part of the appliance.
- The pilot light will come on to indicate that the
charger is charging the battery.
- At the end of the time period specified above,
remove the battery from the charger.
- When the battery is charged disconnect the
charger from the mains supply.
- NB: Do not use the appliance while it is con-
nected to the charger.
HOW TO CHECK THE BATTERY'S CHARGE
LEVEL:
- Press the battery charge level indicator button,
the pilot lights that indicate if it is charged will
light up.
- If all three pilot lights come on (red, yellow and
green) this means that the appliance is fully
charged.
- If only one pilot light lights up (red) this means
that the battery has very little power remaining.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
BEFORE USE:
- Make sure that all the product's packaging has
been removed.
- Ensure that the voltage indicated on the rating
label matches the mains voltage before plug-
ging in the appliance.
INSERT A SCREWDRIVER BIT:
- Pull the bit holder and fit the screwdriver bit (M)
or the magnetic holder (N) into the socket until it
gets pushed at maximum place.
- Release the bit holder so the screwdriver bit
gets stucked.
- To remove it, pull the bit holder and remove the
bit. Then release the bit holder.
