REPLACEMENT PUMP FOR FLOW CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

We recommend cleaning the pump every two weeks or more often with two or more cats.
PUMP MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Cleaning the motor is very important for the longevity of the fountain and the cleanliness of the
water.
1. Unplug the fountain.
2. Remove the stainless steel cover from the plastic base, the filter from the filter holder, and lastly
the filter holder.
3. Gently lift the pump out of the bottom bowl. Suction cups on the bottom of the pump hold it in
place. A small amount of force may be necessary.
4. Once the pump is out of the fountain, use your thumb and forefinger to gently squeeze on
either side of the filter and pull it off. (Figure 2)
