Fit the solar panel
Connect energizer, battery and solar panel
• Connect the solar panel to the battery cable from the energizer.
• Take both cable socket from the solar panel and put them in the alligator clips of the relevant cable lugs.
• Put the red wire in the red clip and the black wire in the black clip.
• Gather the surplus wire together and fix it with a cable tie (not supplied).
• Check that the energizer is in the OFF position, otherwise switch it off!
• Take the cable, including the alligator clips, through the opening of the Gallagher Solar Box to the battery.
• Remove the protective caps from the battery terminals (if fitted).
• Put the black alligator clip on the MIN (-) terminal of the battery and then the red alligator clip on the PLUS (+)
terminal of the battery. The Gallagher Solar Box is now ready for outdoor use.
• Position the system with the solar panel trained on the sun, in the site of your choice. Connect the earth peg
and the fencing to the energizer.

The adjustable solar panel bracket is standard suitable for fitting the following
Gallagher solar panels:
041701 – 10 Watt incl.
041732 – 20 Watt incl.
041725 – 30 Watt incl.
Determine the required distance and put the baseplates (F) in the correct position
before tightening the nut on the carriage bolts. Fit the solar panel on the mounting
rail with the regulator at the top.
There are nuts and bolts enclosed for tightening the solar panel, being 4x Crosshead
screw M6x10 (K), 4x Washer M8 (D) en 4x Nut M6 (L).
