DIRECT MONITORING
To eliminate the negatives of possible latency, the unit is equipped with the "Direct
Monitoring" option. Press "Direct Monitor" to turn on this option, the text will be
illuminated. When turned on, the input signals will be routed to the connected
headphones and main monitor output directly. This way, input will be heard with zero
latency. The inputs will be combined to mono, making both microphone- and instrument
input appear in the centre of the stereo image.
PLEASE NOTE: Signals to PC or MAC are not affected when utilizing this option.
When "Direct Monitoring" is turned on, make sure that the recording software you are using is not set to route the registered
input to its output directly. If so, input is "doubled", resulting in an unwanted echo-effect.
