A) Dry Contact Alarm Notification: The contact will close for notification if the fan goes into an alarm state.
B) Power Supply Input: 12VDC, 2A. For international models, select the appropriate wall plug adapter.
C) Temperature Probe: Six feet long. Mount at the highest available location in the rack.
D) Notification LEDs: Functions listed below.
- Auto LED: This LED will illuminate yellow when in auto mode.
- Fan LED: This LED illuminates green when the fans are always on. If in auto mode, the LED will blink
proportional to the fan speed.
- Alarm LED: This LED will illuminate red if the alarm temperature is reached. This LED will remain illuminated
until the temperature has gone two degrees below the alarm temperature.
E) Control Switch: Three position switch used to control the fans' mode. Modes detailed below.
- Auto Mode: The fans will turn on and off based on the turn on temperature dip switch settings. The fan speed
will be proportional to the temperature in this mode.
- Off (O) Mode: The fans will always be off.
- On (I) Mode: The fans will always be on.
F) Turn Off Temperature Switches: These switches control the turn on temperature of the fans when the control
switch is in the auto position.
G) Graphical Depictions of the Fan Turn on Speeds: There are four temperature settings,
75°F (24°C), 80°F (27°C), 85°F (29°C) and 90°F (32°C).
H) Graphical Depictions of the Alarm Temperatures: There are two alarm settings, 95°F (35°C) and 100°F (38°C).
I) Alarm Temperature Switches: These switches control the alarm temperature when the control
switch is in the on or auto position.
