Possible cause / solution
• Is the device plug (6) inserted correctly in the
connecting socket for the device plug (5)?
• Is the mains plug inserted in the plug socket correctly?
• Is the plug socket defective? Try another one.
• Check the fuse of the mains connection.
• When the device is fi rst used: Any coating residues that
may remain may result in a small amount of odour or
smoke development. This is normal. Allow the device
to heat up for approx. 15 minutes (see "Operation").
• The device has already been used: Is the wok pan (3)
dirty? Clean the wok pan (3) (see "Cleaning and
Storage").
