personal injury, always remove the start key from the tool
when you are assembling parts.
INSTALL THE SEAT
See Figure 1.
 Place the seat assembly over the mounting brackets and
align as shown.
 Lower the seat clip so it is secured onto the mounting-
bracket.

 Attach the seat safety interlock cable to the plug on the
mower.
 Push the cable clip through the hole in the seat bracket
on the underside of the seat as shown.
 Lower the seat.
CONNECT THE BATTERY
See Figure 2.
When shipped from the factory, the mower's batteries are
disconnected.
To connect:
 Pull up on latch to lift tractor hood.
 Remove the storage tray.
 Install the battery pack's quick-connect plug.
 Repeat for each battery pack.
 Replace the storage tray and lower the tractor hood. Make
sure the hood is securely latched.
