Guarantee
The manufacturer's guarantee applies to a period of 24 months after the purchasing date. Material
and production deficiencies will be remedied free of charge. Further claims in this respect are exclu-
ded.
In the event of acceptably-explained deficiencies being detected, the customer is obliged to return the
product that is the subject of complaint to us on demand at his own expense and at his own risk. We
are entitled to improve or replace the deficient product in a manner of our choosing and return it to
the customer.
Parts subject to wear and damage caused by incorrect handling (e.g. damage caused by overloa-
ding/overheating/unilateral repairs) are excluded from the guarantee terms.
Prior to initial commissioning
Unpacking the unit
Check the unit for any transportation damage after unpacking the compressor.
Note: It is sensible to retain packaging materials for future use should you wish to
transport the unit again at a later date. The covering cap should also be retained for
future transportation purposes.
Note: Packaging material should be disposed of in accordance with valid regulations
if it is no longer required.
Checking the integrity of the unit
Check to ensure that the unit has been delivered in its entirety. In addition to the compressor, the
scope of delivery encompasses the following components:
A bottle of oil (two bottles in the case of Models 50A and 100A)
A filling nozzle for screw fitting to the oil bottle (two filling nozzles in the case of Model 100A)
Plug connectors
An air filter (two air filters in the case of Model 100A)
A plastic hose for expelling condensate from the tank (only in the case of Models 30A and 50A)
Unit installation and set-up
Install the compressor on a level surface in a well-ventilated room with adequate space.
Room temperature should not exceed 35°C.
An adequate supply of fresh air should be established where the room does not receive a sufficient
supply of air.
Filling oil (Illustration 1)
Warning: The compressor does not contain any oil during transportation. This helps avoid
oil penetrating to the compression chambers during transportation and damaging
the unit. The unit should therefore be filled with oil prior to initial commissioning, as
there is otherwise a risk of damage to the compressor.
50A and 100A compressors are tested by the manufacturer and delivered filled
with oil.
1. Model 20A, 25A and 30A: Remove the covering cap from the suction spout.
Model 50A and 100A: Remove the covering cap on the motor hood opening.
2. Screw the filling nozzle supplied onto the open oil bottle and
cut the tip off the nozzle.
3. Connect the unit to a suitable electrical power supply.
