The masonry and concrete surfaced to be worked must be free of metal.
Metallic screws, rods, cables, iron reinforcements etc. may not be worked
by the PKD grinding disc. Hidden metal parts may be located with a metal
detector and removed with a suitable tool.
METAL destroys the PKD grinding disc!
Protect the monobloc industrial diamonds of the grinding disc against direct
impact.
!
Improper use may damage or destroy the tool.
Intended Use
The PKD grinding disc is equipped with monobloc diamonds. These are
particularly wear resistant and easy to cut with. Due to their properties and the
special cutting geometry, different materials can be abraded quickly since the
disc does not stick to heat sensitive materials:
Render (e.g. fines down outdoor rendering)
Paints
Asphalt layers
Fines down bitumen
Epoxy bonder
Glue residue (e.g. removing tile adhesive)
Removing carpet scraps
Floor coatings
Natural masonry (e.g. machining granite curbstones)
Bricks (e.g. cleaning)
Sanding concrete (e.g. soot, burn marks)
Removing dirt (e.g. cleaning oily floors)
Screed
Before starting the work make sure that you are not standing off-balance
and check your personal protective equipment.
Place the machine during work with the PKD grinding disc onto the work
surface and switch it on. Hold the machine with both hands and guide it
carefully over the work surface.
Care and Maintenance
No care or maintenance required.
The diamonds cannot be worn down.
We cannot refit diamond segments to the grinding discs.
