Miter/angle cuts
The saw shoe is factory-set to
0 - 45°
0 - 45°
the center position (O°). To set
miter and angle cuts, loosen
the holding screw of the saw shoe with
the adjustment key (Fig. 3), and push the
saw shoe forward out of its locked
position. Set the cutting angle by turning
to the right or left. The angles 0°, 15°, 30°
and 45° are marked, and intermediate
values can also be selected. Tighten the
holding screws firmly. Remove the cutting
guard (6) for angle cuts. To do this, push
the cutting guard outward with both
hands at the two attachment points (11)
and remove it. Reinstallation is done in
the reverse order.
Dust suction system
Connect the suction hose of the
household vacuum cleaner to the
suction opening of the jig saw. If
necessary, obtain a suitable adapter from
a local store. Working with the cutting
guard installed improves the level of
effectiveness of the dust suction system.
8 – Operation
Switching on and off
Insert the power plug into a 230 V socket.
CAUTION! Always switch the
machine on after installing the
sawing guard (10), but before making
contact with the material.
Switching on
Push the On/Off switch (1) in direction I
and hold it there. The machine starts at
the set stroke rate.

switch and wait for the machine to
come to a stop.
9 – Mode of operation
CAUTION! Always guide the
device with both hands.
Working with oscillating stroke
Set a suitable oscillation level and
stroke rate. See Fig. 4 for orientation.
Perform test cuts on waste workpieces.
Note:
• Low oscillation rates: For fine, clean
cuts in wood and metal materials
• Oscillation level I: Oscillating stroke
switched off for thin materials and
interior cutting in wood (Fig. 5)
• High oscillation levels: For rough,
fast cuts in wood and cuts in soft
fiber materials
