Switching on the device

1. Ensure that the condensation drain hose has been
laid and connected properly. Do not create trip-
ping hazards.
2. Ensure that the condensation drain hose is not
bent or jammed and that there are no objects on
the condensation drain hose.
3. Ensure that the condensation can run off properly.
4. Insert the mains plug into a properly secured
mains power socket. Do not create tripping haz-
ards.
5. Empty any condensation from the device by
pressing the button for draining residual water
from the condensation pump (20).
6. Switch on the device at the mains switch (16).
7. Check whether the operation indicator light (14)
lights up.
8. Adjust the room humidity level with the arrow but-
tons (10).
9. If wanted, use the "TIMER" button (15) to set the
operating time of the device.
Adjusting the operating time
1. Press the "TIMER" button (15) to set the operating
time of the device. Keep pressing the button until
the desired operating time (17) is shown in the
display. After the operating time has passed, the
device automatically switches off.
2. To switch this function off, press the "TIMER"
button (15) again until "00:00" is shown in the
display of the selected operating time (17).

"Continuous" operation mode
In continuous operation mode, the device dehumidi-
fies the air constantly, regardless of the humidity in
the air.
To start continuous operation, keep pressing the "Ar-
row down" button (10) until "CO" is shown in the dis-
play of the selected humidity (18).

Automatic defrost

If the room temperature is below 15 °C, the evapora-
tor becomes covered in frost while dehumidifying. The
device then carries out an automatic defrost. The du-
ration of the defrost can vary.
• The automatic defrost is interrupted when the
mains switch (16) or the arrow keys (10) are
pressed.
• Do not turn off the device during the automatic de-
frost. Do not remove the mains plug from the
mains socket.

Shut down procedure

1. Switch off the device at the mains switch (16).
2. Press the button for draining residual water from
the condensation pump (20).
3. Do not touch the mains plug with wet or damp
hands.
4. Remove the mains plug from the mains socket.
5. Remove the condensation drain hose and any re-
sidual fluid from it.
6. Clean the device, and especially the air filter, ac-
cording to chapter "Maintenance".
7. Store the device according to chapter "Storage".
