INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Installation Location Selection
Be sure to provide for adequate measures in order to prevent infestation by rodents. Rodents making contact with electrical parts can
cause radio or TV interference in a domestic environment.
This equipment cannot be installed in areas
that contain flammable gasses that could
cause fire or explosions
The unit should be installed at the place
where the cold/hot air or noise will not
interfere the neighbors.
1. Choose a place that can carry the weight of the unit for installation and service, so that the unit will not shake or fall.
The unit shall be installed on a level surface (below 1/100).
3. Indoor and outdoor equipment should be as close to each other as possible to reduce the length of the refrigerant pipeline and the
number of bends while maintaining required clearances.
4. The installation should offer reasonable protection from the elements, dust, weather and earthquake. Equipment should be installed
above average snowfall levels.
5. Make sure that there is adequate clearance for maintenance.
6. Children should be prevented access to the equipment.
7. There should be at least an 8 inch gap under the unit when using bottom piping access for refrigerant lines.

This equipment should only be installed in areas that
are well ventilated. There should be no obstacles
blocking air inlet and outlets and the equipment
should be shielded from strong winds.
• Condensate drainage can freely flow.
• Snow levels will not obstruct air flow through
the unit.
• Vibration pads or springs can be installed under
the unit.
IMPORTANT: Please use M12 fixed anchor bolts, each machine 4, and
use shock absorbers to reduce noice.
Structural support should be adequate to
properly support the equipment or vibration
and noise may occur.
• The equipment should be elevated off the
ground or it may becomedamaged.
• Areas free of corrosive gasses.
• Direct exposure to off shore winds
• Areas that contain smoke.
• Exposure to steam.
• Exposure to high frequency magnetic waves.
• Areas provided with an unstable power supply.
Clearance above unit
should be 8in. minimum.
