Peak Demand Off (Override mode)
When you want the refrigerator to ignore the SMART GRID (Demand Response) signal from
the utility company, you can activate Peak Demand Off (Override mode).
When you activate Peak Demand Off (Override mode), the refrigerator ignores the SMART
GRID (Demand Response) signal and is not controlled by the utility company.
Activating and deactivating Peak Demand Off (Override mode)
Type A model
1. To activate/decativate Peak Demand Off (Override mode), Press the Freezer button for 3
seconds, while not changing other display settings.
2. When the Peak Demand Off function is deactivated, if you press Freezer button for 3
seconds the Peak Demand Off function will be activated.
- The corresponding indicator (
- If the refrigerator receives a SMART GRID (Demand Response) signal from the utility
company, 'Or' is displayed in the fridge indicator.
3. When the Peak Demand Off function is activated, if you press Freezer button for 3
seconds the Peak Demand Off function will be deactivated.

Type B model
1. To activate/decativate Peak Demand Off (Override mode), Press the Door Alarm button
for 3 seconds, while not changing other display settings.
2. When the Peak Demand Off function is deactivated, if you press Door Alarm button for
3 seconds the Peak Demand Off function will be activated.
- The corresponding indicator (
- If the refrigerator receives a SMART GRID (Demand Response) signal from the utility
company, 'Or' is displayed in the fridge indicator.
3. When the Peak Demand Off function is activated, if you press Door Alarm button for 3
seconds the Peak Demand Off function will be deactivated.
