8. Cleaning and Care
Caution! Never use alcohol, acetone, benzene or any other aggressive cleaning
agents to clean the plastic components. Do not use hard brushes or metallic ob-
jects.
1. Turn off the appliance before cleaning. To do so, press the "TARE" button for
about 3-4 seconds in the switched on condition.
2. Clean the top and bottom using a slightly dampened cloth. Ensure that water
does not enter the housing.
3. Allow the appliance to dry completely after cleaning and before reuse.
4. Remove the batteries if you do not intend to use the appliance for a long
period.
5. Store the appliance in a dry, cool place away from moisture and direct sunlight.
